I'm Rosella
Artist & watercolorist
Creativity always was my safe space, as well as my favourite hobby, the tool i use to better talk about the world inside my head.
As a kid i spended Hours drawing and creating toys with paper, patches, flowers- everything that i could lay my hands upon became a new occasion for me to create something unique, expecially for my sisters and i.
Time never watered down that passion as i grew up: i attended the local art institute of my city (Now under the name of High School of Arts), then continued my Studies at Pescara’s UED, a place that Fed my Hunger for knowledge and allowed me to explore the various languages of design, style and Communication trough art.
In 1999 Mercury Design, a place competely dedicated to Visual arts, was founded, tho i Felt the need to go back crafting, feeling the corse paper and watercolors’ brushes between my fingers. So. In 2020, i started anew with an artistic workshop where i could finally allow my heart and creativity to Clash in perfect sinnergy: Here, both my Wedding stationery and Artisanal craftspace were born.
Watercolors fastly became my strongest allies, after years as a self-taught with them, and chose to perfect my mastery of those with professional classes to find a style that truly Felt like mine. It mas a way to better shape into reality clients’ dreams, but also to tell a story about myself with each creation.
Nowdays i have the luck of being able to work with couples that, from all around the world, chose to set foot inside my workshop and chose Italy for their special, happiest day.Each time’s like the very first: Listening to their stories and desires, brainstorming toghether, carving out of dreams that speak of love forms and shapes they’ll hold close to their hearts forever.
This is the core of my works, turning something that before existed only in the strings of someone’s heart into solid realities.
My work comes from hands, heart & pure imagination
Each single work is the product of human creativity and care, a little work of art, capable of telling a story of love and beauty.
I always remember those who share my same philosophy about work and life.
I believe in genuine relationships built on time, just like my most cherished friendship, who have been ongoing for more than thirty years. Some were born between school’s desks, others thanks to my favourite musical band.
I shared with my friends all my dreams, successes and joyful memories, but also hard paths. Nevertheless, we always stayed true to ourselves.
